Souvenir Finder is the only worldwide database specializing in telling the story of a destination through its souvenirs.

Why contribute to Souvenir Finder?

• Reach a brand new audience outside of travel blogs— our readers come for travel shopping advice but are often interested in related travel tips beyond our scope
• Souvenir Finder’s niche focus has already attracted media attention
• Souvenir Finder is Google page-ranked 3 (ranked after only 4 months). We prominently feature our guest contributors with author’s box with bio, photo and url link, as well as an additional link within the post to a related post on their site (all do follow).
• Our skilled editors will help turn your post into a polished piece for your portfolio. You’re never on your own– we will edit your piece to professional standards, but will always seek your final approval prior to publication.
• Frequent contributors to Souvenir Finder will be featured on our Top Contributors page— complete with full profile (and option to be considered a region expert, if applicable).

What types of contributions do we accept?

• Traditional guest posts (see below for writing guidelines, also check out posts on the site for samples)
• Photo Essays
• Assignments (if you are interested in writing or photographing for us, let us know where you’re headed and we’ll give you story ideas.)

What kind of souvenirs/shops are we looking for?

• By souvenirs, we mean anything unique/different from a region, not necessarily something sold in a “souvenir shop” or directed at tourists. Now’s your chance to get creative! We’ve written about everything from buying underwear from a British department store, to bringing home a souvenir scarf after attending a Premier League match, to watching a local artisan create ceramic plates in Florence.
• Because our database serves as a practical guide, the souvenir needs to be something our readers can find and purchase for themselves (so a one off antique wouldn’t be a good fit, but could be considered for “shopping tips” below).
• Include approximate prices
• Where to buy (if no exact location or it’s a common item widely available, “any shop near the center” or “at the market”, e.g.,” ok if applicable)
• We prefer not to include random tchoctkes or dust collectors, but exceptions are made depending on the story behind it.

• Our readers love souvenir collections! Show off yours— whether it’s hats, musical instruments, lucky charms– snap photos of your collection and tell us why you chose to collect the item and any fun anecdotes.
