When you submit a photo, video or text to Souvenir Finder, you don’t lose any of your rights– you still own the work (and its copyright) in full and can do whatever else you like with it. Because the stuff is still yours, in order for us to publish it, you are granting us a non-exclusive license to reuse it, as set forth below (this is pretty standard stuff, we want to ensure we our using your copyrighted work properly).
The “legalise”:
Your submission of any photo, image, video, or other content or information to Souvenir Finder grants to Souvenir Finder and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, and assigns, a perpetual and royalty-free license to reproduce, publish, display, transmit, alter, modify, amend, prepare derivative works of, and otherwise use and exploit the submitted photo, image, video, or other content or information worldwide, in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter created.
By submitting any photo, image, video, or other content or information to Souvenir Finder, you hereby represent and warrant that you, as the sole owner of the photo, image, video, or other content or information, have the right to grant any and all rights and licenses granted to Souvenir Finder herein and that the photo, image, video, or other content or information does not contain any defamatory material or injurious instructions, and does not infringe on any copyright, trademark right, or any rights of privacy or publicity of any third party.
You hereby agree to release and hold harmless Souvenir Finder and its affiliates, licensees, sponsors, directors, officers, employees, agents, and assigns from and against any claims of any nature that arise in connection with any use of any photo, image, video, or other content or information submitted to Souvenir Finder that is authorized under these Terms.
