Call out for your Christmas and Holiday Ornament Photos from around the Globe!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our readers! We are thankful to have you and appreciate all your supportive comments and feedback.

It’s getting to be the time of year when we take our Christmas and other holiday ornaments out from storage.  If you’re like me, part of the fun of trimming the tree is remembering where you picked up each ornament– the ones I bought as a souvenir of my travels always bring back great memories.

This year, Souvenir Finder would like to include our readers in our upcoming Holiday Extravaganza series.  We’ll be doing specials on Christmas markets around the world, providing holiday souvenir shopping tips, and showcasing Holiday ornaments (and other holiday decor) from around the globe– including yours.

Let’s show off all those ornaments!  Send in your favorites and they may be featured in our Ornaments around the Globe post!  The series will run the week of Christmas, so there is plenty of time to get your photos in as you get your home ready for the holidays.

What do you need to do to contribute your favorite ornament photo?

  • First, snap a photo.

DSC02273 DSC02275You can take a photo of your ornament on the tree, hanging from an ornament holder, or even lying on a table.  Single ornaments or a collection of related ornaments, there are no rules!   Or if you have other holiday souvenir non-ornament items related to Hanukkah or other seasonal celebrations, we’d love to feature those too!

  • Next, email your photo to [email protected]
  • Include the country and city where you bought the ornament (if you have a special story behind the souvenir, we will try to include it if space permits, but this is not necessary)
  • If you would like your name used with your photo, just let me know how you would like it to appear (full, partial, nickname)
  • If you are a blogger, provide your URL so we can link back to you.

Looking forward to seeing all the great photos!

Great idea Kristin. My Christmas storage containers are currently buried in a renovation nightmare pile in our basement. Hmmmm...sounds like an adventure coming up.

Renovation-- the very word strikes fear in me after living in sawdust for 6 months. But your ornaments sound lonely in the basement, I'm sure they'd love to spend Christmas with you!
